You will need:
-Glass Jar with plastic lid (If you choose to use a metal lid, you will need to put a piece of wax paper or parchment paper under the lid to keep the metal lid from corroding)
-Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother
-Raw Local Honey or sweetner of your choice (optional)
Directions:
Empty the contents of the bag into a 32 oz mason jar or something similar and pour four cups of apple cider vinegar with the mother over the herbs and spices, stir. Screw on lid, date the jar, and let ferment anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Making sure to use a wooden or stainless steel spoon to stir every few days or you can also gently shake the jar and simply open the lid aferwards to let any gasses escape. When you choose to stop fermenting, pour the contents from the jar into a bowl fitted with a fine mesh strainer and use the back of a spoon to press out any extra juice from the herbs and spices. You may also use cheesecloth or nut milk bag to squeeze any extra juices out. Pour strained fire cider into a clean jar and date. It doesn't need to be refrigerated but can be. Keep it out of direct sunlight.
